Apply to be a Middle School or Teen Volunteer!
Are you looking for a fun way to give back to the community? Have you always been curious about what it’s like to work in a library? Or maybe you need community service hours for school? You should apply to be a volunteer at our Library!
The River Forest Public Library welcomes middle school and teen volunteers to help fulfill the Library’s strategic goals and mission.
Requirements to Volunteer
- All volunteers must be in grades 5-12
- River Forest residents only
- Available to work at least one 2-hour shift each week during the summer
- Must participate in an orientation session
- Parent or guardian must sign Volunteer Release and Waiver Agreement
