Join us on zoom with author Susan Fox as we explore the turbulent 1960s and 70s through the lens of the Peace Corps. Learn what it was like for the thousands of young men and women who left home to work in the poorest countries on the planet. Get to know Jo, a volunteer in Afghanistan who starts a nursing school for Afghan girls, and leaves a piece of her heart in the Hindu Kush mountains.
