Program Description
Chicago author Eden Robins joins us live and in person! She will read from her acclaimed novel When Franny Stands Up (set partly in Oak Park), discuss her work in conversation with a librarian, answer audience questions, and sign copies of the book. Registration for this event is encouraged.
This event is part of River Forest Reads, a shared reading experience for members of the community to read and discuss the same book. Check out our other River Forest Reads events: a presentation on the history of women in comedy on July 29, and a community book discussion on August 17.
