Program Description

Program Description

If statues could talk, what stories would they tell? Beth Sair, retired educator, volunteer at the Chicago Architecture Center, and member of the Chicago Tour Guides Professional Association  breathes new life into our city's spectacular public art collection.  Each statue tells a compelling story, written by Chicagoans, voiced by Chicago actors, and co-produced by Chicago theaters. Join us on Zoom to find out unique details about the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition and which set of statues speak as the unofficial mascots of Chicago. You will not only experience the statues in a whole new way, but also learn unique details about Chicago’s history. Brought to you in partnership with River Forest Township.
